Inserted within the limits of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, which allows it to preserve all its natural beauty.

 

From the dunes, sand, seawater quality of excellence, as well as the beach support that guarantees restoration / bar, complete sanitary facilities, access and service dedicated to users with reduced mobility and shaded parking, the beach has the privilege of meet conditions for ISO 14001 environmental quality certification, having been the first beach in Grândola county to be awarded the Blue Flag of Europe along with Tróia-Mar and Tróia-Galé Beach.

 

Surfing, boogie boarding, kite surfing and sport fishing are possible on this beach.

 

Walking tours in adjoining pine forests or paddy fields allow bird watching.
