Portugal was elected this Saturday, for the third consecutive year, the best European tourist destination by the World Travel Awards, the Oscars of tourism. In total Portugal has won 39 awards
The country once again won the distinction of the World Travel Awards. There were 38 more awards, highlighting Lisbon and Madeira.
Among the main awards, highlighting Lisbon, as the best city for a getaway; Paiva Walkways, as the best tourist attraction; Madeira, as Europes best island destination (sixth time winner); and the Algarve, as the best European beach destination.
Once again we are recognized as the best country in Europe when it comes to tourism. PARABENS PORTUGAL
