In a list that includes the 12 best cities to visit in 2019, the Culture Trip website placed Porto in second place on the podium. "If 2018 belonged to Lisbon, 2019 will be all about Porto."



Culture Trips list of its 12 best destinations to visit in 2019 has just been revealed and shows that the platform is surrendered to Invicta. Porto was voted the best city in Europe to go next year - and second in the world, just behind Oaxaca City, Mexico.

 

Portugal had already been elected one of the most peaceful countries in the world, due to the quality of life and security, which attracts more and more foreigners. Now  Porto has  just been voted the  best European destination  to meet in 2019. According to Culture Trips travel platform  , Portugal  s second largest city  is a riverside paradise capable of delighting all types of travelers. 

The beautiful landscapes, the quality of the cuisine, the offer of cultural activities and, of course, the famous  Port wine  were some of the reasons that led the experts to choose the city as a must for next year. In the 2018 list, Lisbon ranked first.
